IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING CURRENT HIGH DEMAND TRENDS.

POKEMON - please do not contact us about Pokemon stock! We are struggling to get any in, and we will not ship out new releases - they are only available in store. We currently have a waiting list of regular customers that is longer than our allocation of new releases, so we cannot take anymore requests for new release items. We would love to be able to supply all our customers with new Pokemon, but we just do not get enough stock allocation.
We do quite often receive reprints of older Pokemon - this will always be notified via our Instagram and Facebook accounts - we are not shipping out, so please don't ask and be aware there are strict purchase limits in shop, so take this into account if you are planning to come from far away.

NEEDOH - this has caught everyone by surprise. We currently have no Needoh in store. Any new stock will be notified via Instagram and Facebook, so please don't contact us about stock! Any new stock will sell out the same day we receive it, so just keep an eye out for notifications.
We have many backorders place with the supplier of Needoh and we are hopeful of getting periodic restocks for the rest of the year. We have been advised there will be no further stock in 2026 apart from what I have already ordered.
We have plenty of other brand squishy in store.

FAKE NEEDOH - taking into account the new information received, it is highly likely that any Needoh not purchased from a reputable location will be fake. Counterfeit Needoh is of poor quality and is potentially dangerous. We recommend you do not buy Needoh products from places such as online marketplaces (ebay, FB market, etsy etc), market stalls or bargain stores. Needoh in UK can only be supplied to retail stores with an account with Needoh supplier, so it is highly unlikely these marketplaces will be selling genuine Needoh.

We are a traditional, independent toyshop in Bakewell in the heart of the Peak District. Our aim is to delight both children and adults with our fantastic range of toys, games and jigsaws.

Whether you are a local resident, day visitor or here for a longer stay, all are made welcome. Our greatest wish is that you leave Big Top Toys happy. We are proud to be major stockists of Lego, with a range of new and collectable Lego and other block building such as Cada, Cobi, Pantasy and Bandai Gundam, a huge TY stand, Schleich, Siku & HotWheels vehicles and a large range of Pokemon and Disney Lorcana trading cards.

We have a great range of jigsaw puzzles, including Gibsons, Ravensburger, Wasgij and Eurographics.

We also have a larger store at Peak Village, Rowsley. This shop is now extended and sells greeting cards, gift bags and wrapping paper. A great location with free parking, good food and plenty of shops.

Along with our usual toy brands and outdoor games we also stock sweets and cold drinks here - ideal if you are at the local campsites. Our shop at Peak Village stocks a much larger range of jigsaw puzzles than Bakewell - brands including a huge Gibsons, House of Puzzles and great kids puzzles as well as a huge selection of Ravensburger jigsaws with piece sizes of 100 up to 4000!

Our latest stock additions include Lottie dolls and accessories, new Sylvanian Family as well as a large choice of board and card games including all the favourites - Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit, Operation, Battleships and also more adult orientated games such as Ticket to Ride, Cards Against Humanity, Exploding Kittens and lots more.

Bigjigs are a traditional British company making top quality wooden products for pretend play as well as preschool toys such as stackers, sorters, peg puzzles and floor puzzles. Also in stock a good range of wooden trains and track.

We also stock Orchard Toys which are an educational and fun game for ages 2-9 as well as their colourful jigsaw puzzles which are ideal for first puzzles.
